Do Rural Texas Projects Need Approval?

Check with the authorities responsible for the property rather than assuming a rural project is exempt. Intended use, floodplain conditions, access and other site requirements can matter, along with applicable restrictions and building approvals.

Is a Steel Kit Automatically Windstorm Certified?

No. A kit purchase does not establish certification or insurance eligibility. If your project falls within Texas's designated coastal windstorm program area, discuss the applicable process with TDI, your insurer and your project professionals before construction.
